It has been a long, long, long, long freaking time since I had a DOUBLE UPDATE for you guys.  But there you go.  Enjoy!

As you may or may not have known, Faithful Readers, I am unemployed.  I prefer the term “at liberty”, but that’s another story.  Anyway, I’ve been pounding the electronic pavement for a year now.  I’m in better shape than most, but I’m beginning to feel the pinch of COBRA as a health care option.

I have had two job interviews in the past month, which is much better than the last time a group of assholes decided they were going to take down the U.S. economy.   So I spent some time “boning up”, because no matter how much experience you have, some asshole thinks you need to take a test.

Thank yew, Korporate Amuuica.  So that’s where I’ve been: Interview Hell.  Preparing, taking, and sweating about it when it’s all over.

I thought you might like to know.

The Little Woman has been keeping me busy on the weekends.  Florida is a “three season” state, like New Jersey (my old home state).  The major difference between the two places is that in NJ the uninhabitable season is winter, where water freezes.  Here in Florida, it’s summer, when lead melts.

So.  Anyway.  She’s been keeping me busy going thither and yon.

I have a short Singularity Blues update for this weekend.  I’ll have a slightly longer one next week, as well as a Shield of Creation update.  Sorry about the wait.
